MCL Companies Launches Sales Force Automation Software from Lockmann Krane

07.04.07

Leading Chicago-based real estate developer MCL Companies has just launched its new Sales Force Automation software courtesy of Lockmann Krane International. Building on the success of MCL’s corporate website developed by Lockmann Krane, the new system helps MCL’s sales teams manage sales leads and determine the success of its sales processes.

“The new Sales Force Automation system will play an important part our sales efforts going forward,” says John Lofton, for MCL Companies. “The organization it provides will help us evaluate our success in order to continually improve the sales process.”

This tool represents a custom software application developed by Lockmann Krane specifically for MCL’s needs. The software provides advanced tracking and management tools for MCL Companies’ condominiums sales in various Chicago developments. With sales leads for multiple developments coming in by email, phone, online contact forms, and sales center visitors, keeping track of everything proves extremely challenging. The new system tracks leads from all sources, prompts sales agents for follow-up and allows sales managers to oversee the progress of leads, sales agents, and the overall sales cycle.

To develop the system, Lockmann Krane worked with MCL Companies to determine which functions were necessary, then teamed up with interactive design firm rd | INTERSECT for the design of the system’s user interface. The whole project was completed within 6 months.

“MCL’s new application takes a sales process with multiple channels and multiple phases and successfully collects it into a single, organized framework,” says Kenneth Roberts, Lockmann Krane’s technology consultant who developed the custom software.

Even more impressive is that the new system interfaces seamlessly with functionality developed by Lockmann Krane in MCL’s corporate website that launched in September 2006. Inquiries about a development sent through the corporate website are automatically entered into the leads tracking system for immediate follow-up by a sales agent.

“Between MCL Companies’ corporate website and the new Sales Force Automation software, MCL has a robust set of technology that guides and streamlines its sales process,” says Lockmann Krane President Jayson Kiel. “We look forward to continuing to help them grow with custom technology solutions.”
